Design & Construction Administration

New CTA Elevated Station – Moving the electrical and other facilities from structure on the Peoria Bridge to the glass structure extension of the station: Responsible for the mechanical / plumbing / electrical / communications construction drawings and specifications and construction oversight.

Responsibilities included integrating the m/e/p/c systems with the other project disciplines.  Also included constructability reviews of the project while in design and cost estimating in keeping with an aggressive design schedule.

Construction oversight responsibilities include review and response to RFI’s, shop drawing reviews, cost estimate reviews, change order reviews, design modifications and conflict solving, and installation oversight, all with the goal of minimizing the change order costs and keeping the project on schedule.
