Construction Administration and Startup Testing

Replace existing bridge with a new 278-foot bascule bridge which carries five lanes of traffic and two 8-foot sidewalks over the Rouge River – Responsible for submittal review, onsite bridge inspections, bridge control system manager services, and balance testing oversite mechanical machinery systems.

The scope included review of the Contractor electrical and machinery system submittals, on-site inspections of the electrical and machinery systems, strain gage balance testing review and witnessing services, and startup and final on-site testing oversite of the bridge control systems and the mechanical machinery bridge systems.
