The project area is Paulina Street to Sheridan Road.  The objective of the roadway and roadside enhancement project was to create a streetscape design for the project area.  The project Scope of Services includes the installation of ornamental light poles and fixtures, landscaping with planters, trees with grates, irrigation, reconstructing sidewalks and curb and gutter, installation of architectural elements, and utility adjustment.

Design included roadway lighting drawings and specifications. Tasks included electrical lighting design, voltage drop calculations, lighting level distributions and computer calculations, sizing and installation of electrical equipment and specifications, coordination with other engineering disciplines, conformance with City of Chicago Bureau of Electricity guidelines and specifications.
