Design Integration of 3 Traction Power Substations

This project is to build a new street car system in the city of Milwaukee. The traction power portion is comprised of approximately 3.8 miles of double track and single-track Overhead Catenary System (OCS) equipment with new poles and foundations, and 3 pre-fabricated traction power substations (TPSS).

Facet Engineering provides the design integration, preparation of drawings, shop drawing reviews, field and factory testing support, and co-ordination between various equipment manufacturers including AC Switchgear, DC Switchgear, Rectifier Transformer, Rectifier, etc. to furnish a complete TPSS.
